I have extensive experience in holding puppy classes over the last ten years and can provide group or one to one training for you and your puppy.
These classes provide you with extensive information regarding your new puppy, how he or she may learn; the best ways to train your puppy; how to housetrain them quickly and effectively; health, welfare and legal issues and how your puppy perceives their new world in your home.
Designed to help the new puppy owner who has literally just acquired their new dog, these two; one hour workshops should give you a great start in understanding and living with your new dog, even before they can make their post vaccination foray into the outside world and perhaps join in puppy classes themselves.
This series of six or eight, 45 minute sessions within small, friendly groups of about eight handlers and their puppies, provide a great preparation for your life together. The classes cover subjects such as; how your puppy learns; basic pet obedience; socialisation; and health, welfare and legal issues; and incorporates the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Assessment, which provides free certificates and rosettes to all the puppies and their owners who successfully complete the various elements of the course.

If you prefer to learn in the comfort of your own home, I can bring all this information to your door and provide you with an individually designed set of classes delivered to you and your new puppy at home.
The course is usually over a four week period, with each session lasting one hour, giving you time to practice the exercises.
Although there is an element of socialisation incorporated into the one-to-one classes, it is also recommended that you attend group sessions to enable your puppy to show off his or her newly acquired knowledge in different environments, with their puppy peers.
For details of these classes and courses see contact information.
