Introduction

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and outline my services and philosophies regarding training, rehabilitation and companion animal behaviour.

Firstly, as a Consultant in Companion Animal Behaviour, I have completed a Certificate in Psychotherapeutics at the University of Derby, and a Certificate in Applied Animal Behaviour and Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling at the University of Southampton and offer a variety of professional services to the pet owning public.

I have been the owner and trainer of a variety of animals most of my life and believe that within the field of Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling and Training, a Consultant should be able to compliment their practical experience with an up-to-date theoretical knowledge gained at an appropriate Higher Education Establishment.

This helps to ensure that you receive a professional safe service which can be regulated.

As a Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (membership number 345), I also believe in their philosophy of kind, fair and effective training methods.

By using positive, reward based techniques of behaviour modification and training, whilst encouraging the owners to understand how their pet animal sees and interprets the world around them, I work with owners to promote a better understanding and build a collaborative partnership for life between you as the owner and your animal companion.
