If you or someone you know would like to train with the Derbyshire School 4 paws, we are offering a variety of Workshops to wile away the winter months featuring different dog activities all delivered in a positive and fun way for you and your dog.
Held at the Strutts Centre, Belper DE56 1UU
Each workshop is for 90 minutes and the fee is £17.50 and must be pre booked.
The class sizes are small, usually up to 6 in each group and you are welcome to book any of the following and you do not have to have any prior training to join in.
Why not book one for a friend or relative as a lovely Christmas Gift!

Click and Trick
Using a clicker to train fun tricks, great for helping build a bond with all the family. You don’t have to be an expert, I will help you to find out just how clever your dog can be.

Rally Obedience
This is a great opportunity to work with your dog to improve their concentration, responses to you and gain an understanding of how to train many obedience based behaviours in a fun and positive way. Check out the Kennel Club

Obedience
Teaching basic competition style obedience. Such as walking to heel, Waits and Stays, Recall, Send Away and Retrieve. No previous training necessary as each person and dog will be taught at their level within the group.

Puppy + for Agility
Lots of fun activities for your dog of any age, helping to build a great relationship with you, give them focus, and help them to become brave, bold and balanced whilst preparing them for trying agility in the future.

Fun Scent Work
If your dog loves to use his nose, why not join this workshop where we will explore ways to enrich your dogs life whilst doing what comes naturally

Obedience for living
Teach your dog some core strategies to create a happy and stress free life for you and your dog. Walk nicely on lead, come back when called, leave things alone, give you things back and say hello nicely, to people and other
dogs/animals.
